Few of us have ‘perfect’ lives. But being happy and feeling good about ourselves is a basic human need.

‘YOU’ the ‘personal person’ is the first place to start.

People sometimes laugh at me when I say that, like it’s obvious … but we juggle a lot of different roles. Having time ‘working on ourselves’ is often the first thing we neglect, but is in fact the best place to start.

Initial Consultation

The first step whatever you want to explore, is an initial consultation, normally over the phone or by Zoom.

This is a FREE exploratory/ chemistry session (discovery call) to discuss options ensure we can meet each others expectations.

Coaching (and therapy) only works if you trust and feel a connection with the person delivering it. If you don’t, don’t waste your money on it because it won’t work. A good coach that helps you get ‘real results’ will push you out of your comfort zone, so you need to trust that they know what they’re doing and that it could work for you.

You also need to be ready to act, or at very least genuinely dreaming of change.

Assessment and Planning

The first session (or two) are about setting goals, making a plan and starting to decipher ‘who’ and where you are now. Using a range of tools and techniques, you should leave these sessions with a bounce in your step and the motivation to start making some changes. The size of the changes will be directed by you. This is about support and empowerment, not adding additional pressure, so feel assured you will be in control at all times.

Exploration & Implementation

Your personal objectives and goals, guide the sessions going forward. A life design coaching approach is an iterative process. There are no right or wrong answers, you can’t pass or fail, so there’s no pressure to perform, other than for yourself. If you’ve tried something and it doesn’t work, or give you the results you wanted straight away, it’s o.k. In fact, it can be a good thing to get it off the options list. We’ll just try something else.

Whilst 1-2-1 Coaching is about achieving specific goals and outcomes. One of the biggest assets you will receive from our approach is that you will learn techniques and perspective management skills that you can use for the rest of your life, in all areas of your life.

Review, Revise & Adapt

Because this is an iterative process, we will be reviewing, revising and adapting throughout so you keep moving forward.

Things change. People change. Focus forward and work on the things you can control, not the things you can’t.

A small note about my thinking/approach:

I think it’s fair to say, I’m kind but direct. I’m sensitive with you, but you come to me to get results quicker than you would if you were doing it alone. I’m ambitious by nature too, so of course I really want you to succeed. I take responsibility for my part and you take responsibility for yours .. and together .. we’ve got this! No magic wands .. but I’ll keep looking.

Coaching can make such a difference … don’t waste time struggling alone. Trust me I’ve tried it!
